Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking or using Heliodora astrology consultation services. By booking or using a service you agree to be bound by these terms.

We offer astrology chart consultations, readings and related interpretive services (collectively, “Services”). Services are for guidance and interest only and do not constitute professional advice (legal, medical, financial, psychological or otherwise).

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to book Heliodora Services unless you have parental/guardian consent.

Booking and payment

Bookings are confirmed once payment is received. Prices shown include VAT where applicable. Any additional charges (e.g., booking fees) will be made clear at checkout.

Distance selling, pre-contract information & contract formation

These Services are provided at a distance (online, phone, video or email). Before you book we will provide our contact details, a clear description of the Service, total price (including taxes), any delivery/fulfilment arrangements, cancellation and refund rights. The contract is formed when we send booking confirmation by email.

Cancellation, refunds and the 14-day cancellation right

If you are a consumer (i.e., not acting for business), you may cancel within 14 days of the contract date. If you cancel within that period and we have not yet delivered the Service, you will receive a full refund.

If you request delivery of the Service to begin immediately you waive your 14-day cancellation right.

For cancellation after the Service has started no refund will be due for completed Services. If the appointment is missed without at least 48 hours’ notice, the fee may be forfeit.

Refunds for cancellations outside statutory rights will be handled as stated at booking: I offer a full refund if cancelled 48+ hours before your appointment; outwith this situation the full payment is due.

Rescheduling

You may reschedule with at least 48 hours’ notice. I will make reasonable efforts to accommodate reasonable rescheduling requests.

Delivery of Services

Consultations are delivered at the scheduled time via the agreed medium (e.g., Zoom, phone, in-person). Heliodora cannot be liable for technical failures outside our control (internet outages, platform failures) but will try to rebook or provide a copy summary where appropriate.

Consumer rights and refunds for faulty services

Services must be performed with reasonable care and skill. If you believe Services were not provided as described, please contact us within 14 days of delivery with details. We will attempt to resolve the matter, potentially offering re-performance or refund where appropriate, in line with applicable consumer rights legislation.

Limitations and disclaimers

These Services are for informational and entertainment purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional advice. You should not rely solely on them for decisions about health, finance, legal matters, or other professional areas.

We exclude liability for any loss, damage or expense arising from reliance on our Services except where not permitted by law (e.g., death or personal injury caused by negligence, or other statutory rights).

Liability cap

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any loss or damage shall be limited to the fee paid for the specific Service concerned.

Confidentiality & data protection

We will treat your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy [link]. By using the Services you consent to our processing of personal data necessary to deliver the Service.

Where you provide birth data or other personal details for a chart, you confirm you have the right to share that information. (If you are providing information about another person, you must obtain their explicit consent.)

Intellectual property

All materials, charts, notes and summaries provided by Heliodora remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed; you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use materials for your personal use only. You may not reproduce, redistribute or sell our materials without written permission.

Recordings and consent

Consultations may be recorded only with the prior consent of all parties and for the purpose of your future personal reference. Any recording permitted for your use remains subject to intellectual property and privacy requirements.

Code of conduct and prohibited uses

You must not use our Services to harass, defame, threaten or otherwise harm others in any way. We reserve the right to refuse service where misuse is suspected.

Complaints & dispute resolution

Should you have a complaint, this should be submitted using our General Enquiries booking form. We will acknowledge within 5 business days and aim to resolve within 20 business days.

Force majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., pandemics, strikes, platform outages).

Third-party links and tools

We may use third-party platforms (video conferencing, payment processors). Use of those services is subject to their terms and we are not liable for their acts or omissions.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on our website at the time of your booking applies.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. For consumers, this does not affect your statutory rights.
